Man, these Crites brothers seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. This past weekend, Casey and his buddy were downtown in Helena hitting up the bar scene. His buddy got into a fight with some dude, and that dude hit Casey's buddy in the back of the head and dropped him.
Casey thought the whole ordeal was over until the dude and the dude's friends came back. Some chick, who was with the dude, hit Casey in the head with a freaking tire iron. Casey escaped for the most part unharmed. He got pretty bloody and hopped a red-eye flight to Vegas 5 hours later.
Casey is in Vegas as we blog. He gets back Thursday afternoon. He probably won't sleep the entire week. He'll get up Friday, drive to Miles City, and party hard at the Bucking Horse Sale.
If this doesn't have MVP written all over it, than I don't know what does. My early favorite for B.H.S. MVP goes to Casey Crites.

He's got youth on his side. That is his one advantage. It would have good to see him compete back in 2002 and 2003 when we were all in our prime.
